  3.     CONVICTED. E. Robert Wallach, 55, San Francisco lawyer and
  4. close associate of former Attorney General Edwin Meese; of
  5. racketeering in connection with lobbying efforts for the defunct
  6. Wedtech Corp.; in New York City. The jury found that Wallach and
  7. co-defendants W. Franklyn Chinn and R. Kent London received a total
  8. of more than $1.5 million worth of cash and stock from the company
  9. for using their influence with federal officials. Wallach faces a
  10. sentence of up to 45 years in prison and $1.3 million in fines.
